Power Of Ram Naam....?How to Find Inner Peace With Yourself?Could God be found in a Hindu temple? answer by: Sivaramakrishnan, posted on: 28th January 2011 11:55:40 am Ans. Birbal and the Divine Name
Birbal and the Divine Name
Birbal was a minister in the court of Akbar. Birbal, apart from his sharp intellect, was also a devotee of Sri Rama. Akbar had a special regard for Birbal. Akbar used to openly ask Birbal to clarify his impulsive - and very often strange doubts. Birbal never failed to give an immediate and a fitting reply to such questions. Wherever Akbar went, he used to take Birbal along with him. During one such instance, when they travelled for some official purpose, they had to take a route through a dense forest. In the course of the journey, both were totally exhausted and famished. So they decided to rest under the shade of a tree for a while before continuing their journey. Since Akbar was very hungry, he wanted to look around the place to see if he can find a house to get some food. He induced Birbal to follow suit. But Birbal who was in the midst of Rama Nama Japam (Repetition of Rama Nama), turned down Akbar's request.
Akbar looked at Birbal.
'Mere chanting of the names of the Lord would not fetch you food. You have to put in your efforts.... You cannot achieve anything without self effort...'
Akbar left Birbal in the pursuit of pacifying his belly. In a little while he spotted a house. The inmates of the house were overjoyed to see their King coming to their very doorstep for food. They treated him to the best of their capacity. Akbar finished his meal and took a little food for Birbal too and left the house to meet Birbal. He met Birbal and gave him the food.
'See Birbal, I told you... I took some efforts for the food and I got it. You were just sitting and chanting Rama Nama , and you did not get any food.' answer by: Sivaramakrishnan, posted on: 28th January 2011 11:56:05 am Ans. Birbal and the Divine Name
Birbal ignored his scoffing and partook the food given by Akbar. After he finished the meal, he looked up at Akbar and said,
'I have just now experienced the power of Rama nama, like never before .You are the ruler of the land. But today even the King had to beg for food. But you look at me. I was just chanting Rama Nama here and the Rama Nama made the king himself to get me food, that too by begging. So I got the food, just by sitting here and chanting Rama nama without any other special efforts. Such is the power of Rama Nama!!'
Chant the Divine Name regularly and you will be taken care of!

Thanks for your comments.
The Mahamantra and the grace of my Gurudev have performed great miracles in the lives of innumerable people. Hoever, it is my humble opinion that the greatest miracle that could happen to one's life is the turn of the human mind into the depths of spirituality. I can tell you all that the Mahamantra has changed the course of life of lakhs of people through the grace of my Gurudev! By His benevolence, i have myself witnessed many such extraordinary happenings.
If you still have any doubts, behold this! I humbly stand as a testimony to what the Grace of a Spiritual Master and power of Divine Name of God can do to one's life! answer by: Sivaramakrishnan, posted on: 28th January 2011 11:56:58 am Ans. Dear friend,
I dont about Birbal. But what i know for sure is that, the Name of God would take care of you like your own mother once you start chanting it whenever you can.
Further, let me also tell you something. A man was searching for a job, but could not get one. At that time, an influential person asked him to study further. he promised that he would get him the best of jobs, if he studied a particular course. As directed by the influential person, our man put his best efforts and studied hard. Finally, the elderly man got him the best job through his influence. Therefore, to get the best job, 2 things are required - 1) Influence by the authorised person, and 2) the right qualification.
Similarly, to obtain the Divine grace and salvation, one needs the blessings of a Saint (the Guru) and the practise of the path advised by him. Both are mutually dependant. You do the one, and you get the other also. Finally, you reach the goal of salvation! Therefore, chant the Mahamantra as advised by the Saints (including Shri Muralidhara Swamiji) and attain happiness in this world and ever after.

You've got some slectacupar new shots up here, and this is one of the best. Every time I connect through O'Hare on United, I have to make a round trip through the tunnel just to take in the atmosphere and watch the changing colors. This captures the vibe as well as can be done. answer by: barerapxo, posted on: 19th March 2012 09:11:57 pm Ans.
